I joined FemDevsMeetup as an organizer in 2018, after feeling rather lonely in the game industry as one of the few women on each team I had been part of. Along with two other women we founded the Frankfurt chapter of FemDevsMeetup, organizing several meetups until the pandemic put a stop to it.
I was also heavily involved in setting up and nurturing the Discord community, which has become the main gathering place for the community between meetups, bringing together people from all corners of Germany and even further.
